Katie North

As a writer, director, actor and producer of film, TV, and theater, Katie North enjoys a rich artistic career in New York. Most recently, she wrote, directed, and starred in comedy pilot Events at Hemlock Manor, edited by Emmy-nominated SNL editor Ryan Spears; starred in features Face the Music and Ghost Punchers; co-wrote and starred in dramedy pilot Nightfish; and co-produced the Broadway comedy musical Operation Mincemeat. Her script, Mourning Glory — following a ragtag group of professional mourners who will do whatever it takes to make their company, and their dead clients, look popular — made it to the Red List for Top Half-Hour Comedy Scripts of 2022. Katie is currently in pre-production on her next project, a feature film slated for 2025.
